Women’s Division

Women golf members with an established handicap can participate in various statewide events, some with handicap requirements, and others open to all. Tournament details can be found in the Tee Shots Newsletter.

Women’s Golfing Division (18-hole Group) – Established in 1926, this group plays every Tuesday from April through September, with friendly daily and season-long competitions, with awards given at the Annual Stagette, held in October.

Forty-Niners Women’s Golf– A relaxed, non-competitive 9-hole group of all skill levels with a focus on support and friendly, encouraging game. There are also season long competitions with awards given at the end of the season.

Puget Sound Women’s Golf Association – Monthly Monday play, among seven other private clubs, with a two-day championship in September. The participating clubs are Olympia, Indian Summer, Kitsap, Linden, Canterwood, Wing Point, and Fircrest. 

Team – Team is a monthly match-play tournament played among six private clubs – Olympia, Tacoma, Indian Summer, Kitsap, Canterwood and Fircrest. Players are placed on the team based on handicap.

Washington State Golf Association (WAgolf) – Hosts various competitions for men and women. There are multiple opportunities to enter fun and serious competition put on by WAgolf. For questions, go online to the wsga.org or call 1-800-643-6410.
